We remember our loved ones who have passed!

This weekend we went to Eugene to visit Steve's family. We are blessed with such a great family on both sides. We miss those who have gone home to be with the Lord and we remember them often!!!

A Date with Zoe

Mommy and Daddy had a date with Zoe this last weekend. Presley stayed home with Auntie Jenn. We went to dinner at Beaches in Vancouver. Very tasty!!! Then we went to Elmo Live at the Rose Garden. Zoe was very excited to see Elmo. She said she was going to hug him. When we first got there she saw a little girl eating popcorn and needed some too! (popcorn and water = $9.00 = WHAT!) When the show started she was scared of Big Bird...he was too big! It was also too loud, she said. She got use to it and did enjoy the show but it was a whole new experience for her...she is use to seeing little Seseame Street on the TV. It was a fun day with Zoe!!! She is such a precious gift! She is so fun to talk with these days. She says the darndest things!

Beach Trip

Steve had a great idea to take the kids to Seaside for the day on May 3rd. We were celebrating me being done with class and we needed a break from weekend chores. Here are some pics. The kids and mommy and daddy got a little cranky aound nap time. we can hardly wait for more family get-aways!

Presely Update!

Presley has been a little on the sick side with a running nose! We went to OHSU to see a metabolic specialist for his Hypoglysimic scare... he didn't really have any defiant answers as to why, but he didn't have any bad news either, so that was good. We need to collect another urine sample from him (yes, it is very difficult). The doctor is looking for a pattern. He explained it as our little man doesn't have enough saved fat to use up during an overnight fasting so he starts to use his (good) fat, then he produces ketones.

Developmentaly this little guy is climbing, crawling, and getting into everything...he really likes the dog water. So we are glad he is meeting his milestones. He will be 1 year old in a month. I can hardly believe it. Save the date June 8 th, we will be having a party for him!!!
